Amazon Rolls Out a Geek Squad-like Service Plus, Cheddar acquires a multi-player stock trading game and there is a startup that wants to fight your speeding ticket for you.

The OTT biz news channel, Cheddar announced its acquisition of StockStream, the world's first cooperative, multiplayer stock market game that uses real money. The viral stock game allows players to vote on which stocks a portfolio should buy or sell. StockStream players are allowed to vote every five minutes on what stocks to buy or sell. Cheddar plans to increase the game's offerings and work on other projects down the line.

Amazon's launch of its new Geek Squad-type service is another reason among many on why Amazon is taking over the world. The new feature is called Amazon Smart Home Service Store and it makes sure the new smart product you just purchased from Amazon is correctly installed and fully set up in your home. You can hire Amazon's background-checked service providers for an at-home installation or a free consultation.

Buckle up, because this startup actually wants to fight your ticket for you. TIKD is an app that makes fighting disputable tickets easy. You submit and pay for your ticket, and TIKD hires an attorney for you. It deals with all the costs and annoying loopholes that make fighting tickets the worst thing in the world. If you still have points on your record at the end of the ticket-fighting process, the app refunds you completely and pays for your ticket.
